DOT bans all Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones from flying
“The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), along with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced today that it is issuing an “emergency order to ban all Samsung Galaxy Note7 smartphone devices from air transportation in the United States.”
Customers who own a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device may not fly with the device on their person, in carry-on luggage, or in checked luggage on flights to/from/within the United States. This ban includes all Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices. The ban became effective on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at noon ET.”
