Earn Up To 100,000 American Airlines Miles
American Airlines announced earlier this week a new promotion where you can earn up to 100,000 American Airlines miles on transatlantic flights. This promotion will run through August 31, 2014. This promotion is great but it will only benefit those traveling for business on a paid full fare, premium economy, business class, or first class ticket. Those flying on business or first class will benefit the most from this promotion as you get a hefty amount of miles for every round-trip you take.
If you are flying on American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, US Airways, OpenSkies, and Iberia, you will qualify for this promotion and will earn more miles with each round-trip transatlantic flight you make. Below is the bonus miles earning chart for this promotion:
Business or First Class: 25,000 bonus miles
Premium Economy Class: 10,000 bonus miles
Full Fare Economy Class: 5,000 bonus miles
The bonus miles can only be earned on a maximum for four round-trips. Meaning if you are flying on 4 Full Fare Economy class tickets you will earn a maximum of 20,000 bonus miles. You don’t have to fly round-trip for this promotion because half the one-way miles will be posted after each eligible one-way segment.
