Free Ice Cream from Uber and Capital One in VA, MD, and DC on FRIDAY

Free Ice Cream from Uber

Free Ice Cream from Uber and Capital One in VA, MD, and DC

If you live in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C., you may be eligible to receive $15 worth of free ice cream this Friday, July 24, 2015 between 11am and 5pm. All you need is an Uber app and an eligible Capital One credit card.

Uber will also be keeping track of which ice cream flavor the DC area prefers based on your order. You will have three choices of ice cream – Blue, Red, or White.

The promotion is known as #UberIceCream so make sure to tweet your experience!

How it works:

  1. Add and use a Capital One credit card as your payment method
  2. Enter promo code: SWEETDEAL into your Uber App
  3. Slide over to ICE CREAM on Friday between 11am and 5pm.
  4. Select Blue, Red, or White
  5. If you are connected, Nestle Drumstick cones will be delivered. Each Drumstick is $3 and a $15 minimum is imposed per order. If you use a Capital One card, then up to $15 worth of ice cream will be comp’d and you will only pay for the ice cream in excess of $15. (Taxes may apply)

*Remember: Capital One customers receive a 20% discount on Uber rides when they use their Capital One credit card to pay.

  1. Not free. your own writing states this. $15.00 min order. the offer I got required a $20 min spend. Do you not read your own ‘copy and paste’ . . . ?

    1. Apparently I do a better job at reading and writing than you my friend. Please read carefully, the ice cream is FREE to those who use a Capital One card to pay. So let me simplify this for you: You buy $15 worth of ice cream and you don’t pay a dime because it is comp’d. Buy $20 worth and you only pay the difference of the promo, which is $5. The only thing you are correct on is that the order must total $15 of ice cream for them to deliver it to you. Which would still be free with this promo if you use the code and use a CAP1 card. It would be stupid of Uber to deliver ice cream to someone who only places an order worth $3.

My personal offer: “Congrats! If you selected your Capital One card as your payment method, your first ice cream order is FREE up to $25. US only.”
