Two Days Left To Use (Most) US Airways Companion Certificates
Most US Airways Companion Certificates that came with the Barclays US Airways credit card membership expire on June 30th. To be exact, you must BOOK by June 30th and fly by September 30th for the companion certificate to be valid.
The companion certificate allows cardmembers to purchase roundtrip (or one-way) tickets for up to two more passengers for only $99 more plus taxes and fees. Of course, there are blackout dates, booking requirements, and minimum fare pricing. All these details should be found on your companion certificate.
The second, and final batch, of US Airways Companion Certificates expire on September 30th and travel must be complete for those by December 31, 2015.
Don’t let this certificate expire, it can be a very valuable and cost saving benefit! And remember, it won’t be around going forward.
Mine expire on different dates. One is 7/31/15 and the other is 8/31/15. Is that because they are renewals
