Free Month of Uber Eats Pass + Help Restaurant Workers

If you’re ordering a lot of meals through food service delivery apps, you may want to capitalize on a free month of Uber Eats Pass. In addition to a free month, Uber is donating $1 to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund until May 31, 2020, up to $1 million.

Signing up will help with a donation to the relief fund, but your orders also help restaurants keep workers employed and businesses open in your local community.

Restaurant Employee Relief Fund

I think the best part about this deal is that it also helps the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.  In case you aren’t familiar with the fund, it’s a great way to help those in the restaurant industry.  Like the travel industry, restaurants have been heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.  The fund supplies grants to people in the restaurant industry impacted by coronavirus, which includes those who lost their jobs or took a pay cut.

It’s pretty nice to be able to help people impacted so heavily during this time simply by signing up for a free month of Eats Pass.  Of course, you can feel free to donate to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund through the link above if you want to give a donation yourself.

Uber Eats Pass

Here’s how the Eats Pass works:

  • $0 delivery and 5% discount on orders over $15
  • Includes any restaurant listed on Uber Eats
  • After the first month, it’s $9.99/month and will auto-renew
  • Cancel anytime.

As a word of caution, the order does have to be over $15 before taxes and fees to qualify.

Uber Eats Pass Signup

In order to sign up for a free month, login into the Uber Eats app and click on “Account” in the bottom right of the screen.  You will see in option from the list titles “Eats Pass.”  Underneath the option, it should say “1 month free with subscription.”  The option seems to be open to all users, as it’s listed on the Uber website.

Enjoy your free month of Uber Eats Pass while quarantined at home, and also know that you also helped your community!
