Delta’s new earning structure with Hertz
Delta Airlines sent an email today with their new earning structure with Hertz. It’s pretty basic and easy to understand. I personally use the friends & family discount so this wouldn’t apply for me.
Hope it applies to one of you though!
- General Members: 500
- Gold & Silver Medallion Members: 1,000
- Diamond & Platinum Medallion Members: 1,250
Also, for a limited time, you’ll also earn bonus miles:
- General members earn 200 bonus miles per rental day
- Medallion members earn 300 bonus miles per rental day
Meaning that now you can earn at least 700 miles on a one-day rental and as many as 3,350 miles on a seven-day rental (if you have a higher elite status), plus savings of up to 40%.
Even though Delta is claiming that this is a new earning structure, it has previously been used making it not so new. It’s also a bit deceiving to say that that you can earn as many as 3,350 because that does not include general members, silver or gold medallion members.
