EL AL Extending Change/Cancel Option Amid Security Concerns
EL AL Airlines will allow its customers who purchased tickets for EL AL or UP flights departing Israel no later than July 25, 2014 to cancel their or reschedule their flight for a period of up to 6 months with no extra charge or cancellation fee.
EL AL will be extending the option to changecancel outgoing flights from Israel with no extra charge until Thursday, July 31st 2014. This announcement is subject to the ticket’s conditions and relevant to tickets issued no later than July 22nd 2014.
- Passengers, who are currently staying in Israel and holding tickets for flights no later than July 31st 2014, will be able to reschedule their flight to an earlier date or postpone it for up to one month, subject to the ticket’s conditions. Alterations must be made no later than July 31st 2014.
- Customers, currently staying abroad and holding tickets for flights to Israel, will be able to reschedule their flight no later than July 31st 2014, with no change fee while flying in the same class as the original ticket. In addition, customers with tickets for returning flights to Israel no later than July 31st 2014 will be able to postpone it until August 31st, with no change fees
- Customers holding tickets for flights to Israel, dated no later than July 31st 2014 and have not yet began their journey, will be able to postpone their flight for up to 6 months with no change fee and in accordance with the new tariff on the date of ticketing. Please be informed that cancellation of the ticket involves a cancellation fee, in accordance with the ticket’s conditions.
