German hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows reveals patrons on toilet
I know this is the second article in two days that I have written about this sort of stuff. Don’t judge me. I do not have a fetish or interest in this sort of stuff, but it makes news…
Patrons who are staying at the 25 Hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, in Germany may find that taking a bathroom break might not be a private matter anymore.
Architects at the Monkey Bar, inside the hotel, installed the toilets right next to floor-to-ceiling windows, so anyone passing by can see patrons in all their glory. Awkward much? The hotel is only 10 stories high, which isn’t high enough to hide guests from public display while using the toilet.
The contemporary hotel, which claims to have some of the best city views in Berlin, is located near the Berlin Zoo and is designed with “the contrasts of nature and culture,” according to their website.
The hotel does not seem to mind that pictures of patrons using the toilet are appearing all over the internet. The hotel management simply posted signs to warn patrons: “Please be careful, not only the monkeys are watching,” reports the Daily Mail.
Personally, I like my privacy, especially when using the throne. Therefore I don’t think I’ll ever stay here!

You really gotta watch those Germans.
It’s all fake as there is no pained expression on her face………
Same thing at the top of The Hotel (The Delano now I guess), but it’s 50+ stories up so no worries.
I stayed at the 25 hour hotel in Frankfurt and the bathroom in our room didn’t have a door on it. Clear view of the shower…. I wouldn’t stay at this chain again ever.
Well, it is just the restrooms at the Monkey Bar (not hotel room toilets!!!) that have these floor to ceiling windows and in the Ladies room, there is a stall (in the photo) – in the Mens room there are urinals by the window…. compared to the High Line in NYC it is far easier to see into the rooms of the Standard Hotel than the Monkey Bar restrooms as they are on the back of the building facing the Berlin zoo (not on the front of the building as the pictures in this blog post suggest!!! Nevertheless I found it really odd when I went to the restroom at the Monkey Bar! Greetz from Berlin
