Lyft Offering Free Rides To Honor Black History Month

Lyft announced on Thursday that they’re offering free rides up to a value of $10 if you go to a black history museum. The ride sharing company is offering the special promotion in honor of Black History Month.

Who? Anybody is eligible
What? A free $10 ride to select black history museums and historical sites
When? The code is valid through February 28, 2019
Where? The deal is good for most major cities throughout the country and Canada, including Austin, Texas; Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; Seattle, Washington; Toronto, Canada; and many more.
How? Use the code for your specific city, which can be found on Lyft’s website.

Lyft has the cities and locations eligible on its website. Each city has a different discount code that you’ll have to use in order to be eligible.

In a statement in a blog post, Lyft said:

This is a good way to save some money if you’re wanting to check out one of these sites and you live in the city where it’s being offered. I personally live in D.C., so a $10 ride would be a pretty good deal and be almost free for me to visit these sites. Let us know if you use this promotion!
