American shows support for LGBT communities amid looming SCOTUS decision

The United States Supreme Court is set to rule this month on same-sex marriage. The Court will rule by the end of June whether same-sex marriage should be legal across the nation, ultimately, the decision will have a somewhat permanent effect on the nation.

Generally, the Supreme Court has been known to wait until the last week of the term to announce controversial rulings.

Meanwhile, American Airlines has started to broadcast via social media its support for LGBT communities amid the looming SCOTUS decision. Though not a surprise since American has always been vocal about its support for same-sex marriage and equality in general, the airline has changed their profile pictures on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
