The Miami Killian JROTC Battalion Needs Your Help! Please?
I attended Miami Killian Senior High School (Cougar Battalion) for 9-12th grade, and during my entire high school career I was in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC), which was an elective class and also an extra curricular activity after school. Presently, the Killian JROTC program is in need of funds to replace their Presidential Honor Guard flags.

Since 1996 the Cougar Battalion has had the distinction of being the only high school in Miami-Dade with a JROTC Presidential Honor Guard. However, in order to continue to support nearby schools and other local community events, the battalion is seeking funds to replace their flags.
JROTC was a great group to be a part of as a kid, though, it isn’t for everyone. It has been over five years since I graduated and I still cherish every memory I experienced with JROTC. I learned a lot about myself, about others, and about my country. Quite honestly, JROTC in a way molded me to be who I am today and I truly cherish that.
Therefore, I kindly ask that you to consider making a donation to their cause so that future Killian JROTC cadets can take part in an Honor Guard ceremony, which is truly beautiful and memorable thing to be a part of.
