Earn up to 3 EQPs per mile flown on American Airlines
American Airlines has announced their latest promotion which allows AAdvantage members who buy First and Business class to earn elite status quicker.
Through December 21, 2015, AAdvantage members can earn up to twice as many elite-qualifying points (EQPs) when they purchase and fly on a First or Business Class ticket through December 31, 2015. See the promotional chart below.
EQPs are usually the deciding factor for those AAdvantage members who decide to take up an elite status challenge with American Airlines to achieve Gold or Platinum elite status without actually flying the required amount within 12 months.
Additionally, there’s no need to register for this promotion. Simply fly on a purchased First or Business class ticket on American, US Airways or eligible partner flights marketed by American or US Airways, and the additional elite-qualifying points will be automatically added to your AAdvantage account.
American also took pride in marketing the fact that with “American, you’ll earn elite status faster than with any other domestic airline when you purchase and fly on a premium ticket.”
