Fog Grounds 120 Southwest Flights at Midway

Foggy weather on Sunday forced Southwest Airlines to cancel more than 120 flights from Chicago Midway, including 50 flights from Sunday night into Monday morning.  The flights were set to resume at 9am, according to the airline.

According to Flight Aware, there were no major delays or cancellations related to the weather at Chicago O’Hare.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog warning for the area, with poor to no visibility possible.  Conditions are expected to be equally dreary on Monday, according to weather reports.
