Icelandair Fare Sale to Europe from $399 (Various U.S. Cities)

Icelandair is holding a fare sale for flights to Reykjavik, Paris, London, Glasgow, Frankfurt, and Munich from various U.S. cities, including New York City, Boston, and Washington, DC. The fare sale is good through January 2, 2017 and prices start at $399.

The sale includes non-stop service to Reykjavik for $399, tickets to Paris for $449, and tickets to London, Glasgow, Frankfurt, and Munich.

The flights to Europe connect in Iceland, which is beneficial because you can use them as a stopover, using your time in Iceland as its own vacation.

This is a really good deal, although Icelandair has showed similar fares over the past six months. It is a great way to get to Europe from D.C. For cheap and see Iceland on the way there at no extra cost. Additionally, the low-cost fare includes two checked bags, wifi from gate-to-gate, and of course, personal in-flight entertainment.
