Royal Caribbean Is Looking To Pay Somebody $7,800 For 3-Week Working Vacation
Every once and awhile, there’s an opportunity put out in the travel industry that seems so tempting you might just want to quit your job and take it. This isn’t quite one of them since it’s only for a few short weeks, but those who have the chance might still want to apply! The company is ready to hire an Irish or British citizen to travel to specific destinations and post about them on social media over the course of three weeks.
The position is specifically called an apprentice shore explorer. The gig comes with a salary of £2,000 a week for a total of three weeks (£6,000 or $7,835 USD). Additionally, you’ll get the chance to be with renowned travel photographer Russ Francis, who posted about the opportunity on his Instagram account.
Destinations
The person selected for the job will travel to the following destinations:
- Perfect Day at CocoCay
- Alaska, USA
- Lisbon, Portugal
- Norway
- Dubai, UAE
- Osaka, Japan
How to Apply
If you hate cover letters and resumes, this job application may also be something you like. In order to apply for the job, you just have to make a post on an extraordinary travel story. You can post the story as an Instagram post, Instagram story, or IGTV. Applicants are required to tag @RoyalCaribbeanUK and #ShoreExplorer in the post.
Terms and Conditions
As always, there are terms and conditions that apply to the job. You can find those specific terms and conditions on the Royal Caribbean UK website.
Bottom Line
This is a pretty cool opportunity, and the application process is pretty easy. It’s especially easy if you’re somebody who travels and have a trove of good content you could include in a post. If you’re a 21-year-old British or Irish citizen who likes to travel, you might want to “apply” to this job as soon as possible. Though it is technically “work,” there’s a lot worse jobs you could have to do for three weeks.
