SkyWest Pilot Proposes to Flight Attendant Girlfriend Before Takeoff

With all the negative videos typically taken on planes, it’s nice to see a positive video come off from an aircraft.  This one is from a SkyWest pilot, Jon Emerson, proposing to his girlfriend, Lauren Gibbs, who also happens to be a flight attendant.  Emerson proposed to his girlfriend before takeoff when he took to the intercom and announced it to the plane.  It also happened to be the couples anniversary.

Best of luck to the pilot and flight attendant on their new journey!  In a world of so many sad moments, it’s nice to capture something on video that actually demonstrates happiness and fun.  Here’s to a long and lasting marriage for Lauren and Jon.
