You can now track your bags on American Airlines!
One of the things I really missed from when I used to fly Delta was the ability to track your checked bags. Since I’ve been flying on American (over 2yrs now) that has not been an option afforded to American Air customers.
However, American has just released a webpage where you can track your checked bag from check-in to carousel. All you need is your last name and record locator or baggage claim number. American claims that the feature will display your checked bag status in real-time.
Personally, I hate checking bags on American because they sometimes take up to an hour to arrive into the carousel.
