American and US Airways FF accounts to merge within the next month

According to an email sent to Admirals Club members by Jim Moses, Managing Director of Premium Services, the AAdvantage and Dividend Miles program are expected to merge within the next month.

Earlier last month I reported that the US Airways website dropped a hint on a March 20th date, however, I expect the accounts to be merged later on this month.

By now, you know we plan to combine loyalty programs within the next month. At that time, we’ll move the Dividend Miles® program into the AAdvantage® program, and we’ll also combine club membership information. To keep things simple, you can continue using your existing club membership card, but remember that some services and airline transactions will remain separate until later this year. To stay up to date on the latest club news and events, be sure to visit our website.

I certainly hope that those who have both AAdvantage and Dividend Miles accounts already linked them. Linking them will decrease the odds of something going wrong during the day of the account merger.
