Seven Bricks of Cocaine Found in American Airlines Airplane Nose

Authorities discovered seven bricks of cocaine in the nose gear in an aircraft that originated in Bogota, Colombia and traveled through Miami.

According to local media in Tulsa,

While in Miami, the plane was flagged for maintenance and was sent to Tulsa.

A Tulsa maintenance worker was working near the nose gear when he noticed some insulation had been moved.

Seven bricks of cocaine were found hidden behind the insulation.

Deputies were called out the scene and have since turned the investigation over to the DEA in Miami, since that was where the plane was going to.

No arrests have been made.
