US Airways Club Members Gain ANC Lounge Access

About a month ago I booked a flight to Anchorage, AK – my flight there was on American Airlines but my return flight was on US Airways. When I checked the Admirals Club locations page (a month ago) it said only Admirals Club members flying on AA operated flights would have access to the ANC lounge, unfortunately, I am flying US Airways from ANC so I was out of luck. I called the AC support number and they also confirmed the bad news.

Today I decided to double check the AC locations page and they are now allowing US Airways Club members and Admirals Club members flying on either US Airways or American Airlines flights to enter the lounge, which is owned by Alaska Airlines. So there you have it, US Airways Club members now have ANC Lounge Access!

Thankfully this changed before my trip in May because my flight leaves at 1am and I wanted to have some free drinks and snacks while I wait for my plane. Woohoo!
